What we collect
Through the form, we collect only what you type:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number and the best way to reach you (text, call or email), if you give them
- Your company or property name and address, if you give them
- Who the request is for (home, business, property owner or trade company), your property type, the services you're asking about, and your message
We don't ask for payment details, Social Security numbers or other sensitive information. Please don't send door codes, alarm codes or passwords through the form.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Reply to your request by email, text or call, whichever you prefer
- Set up a site visit
- Prepare a plan or quote you asked for
We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else can see it
Your message is emailed to J. Shea Technologies. A short summary is also sent to our team's phone as an alert: who the request is for, your name and email address, your property type, the best way to reach you, your phone number if you gave it, and the first part of your message.
To run this website and deliver form messages, we use a few service providers: Cloudflare (website host, Turnstile spam check and email forwarding), Resend (email delivery), Google (Gmail, where the messages are received), ntfy (ntfy.sh, phone alerts) and Google Fonts (the website's font). They process your information to provide those services, under their own privacy terms. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and technical data
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check that may look at your IP address and browser details to tell people from bots. The spam check loads when you reach the form, so it can run before you send anything. When you send the form, our server also passes your IP address to it.
Our web font is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. Our website host may keep basic technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.
This site uses no advertising cookies and no analytics.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages as long as we need them to answer you and for normal business records. Messages from people who don't become customers are kept for up to one year. After that, we delete them. Our email and alert providers may keep copies under their own retention rules.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you sent. Email [email protected].
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect what you send. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please keep sensitive details out of the form.
This site is meant for adults and businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
